Tools on public data.

I work on cloud data protection and distributed systems at Druva. Outside work I take data that is already public but hard to use, and turn it into something anyone can use: weather from radar and satellites, economic change from nighttime lights, noise on the street outside.

Side projects

Built to be used.

  1. Weather for India, with forecast models compared side by side, radar and satellite storm tracking, and public scores showing how the forecasts actually perform.

  2. Explore how places change through nighttime satellite light. Compare regions over time, view GDP alongside the imagery, or draw an area of your own and query it live.

  3. A noise meter and public noise map for India. Take an indicative reading with your phone, share it, and help turn a daily complaint into a record somebody can check.
